Drive hunt
As the grassland used for military purposes in the „impact areas“ should not become overgrown, grazing deer is particularly welcome here. Once a year, the Federal Forestry Office carries out a drive hunt in the forest areas of the military training area to direct the wildlife to the open land. The hunt is traditionally ended by blowing the hunting horn.
