Pristine nature
Undisturbed habitat for white-tailed eagles, wolves and bats: large parts of the 233-square-kilometer terrain are not intended for military use and will remain pristine. Grassland, heathland, mixed forests, Jura rocks, wetlands and peatlands, swamps and waters are ecosystems that are home to over 3,000 different animal and plant species, including around 800 Red List species.
